Why does Ultra Nature Immune Defence contain a yeast in its formula?

The yeast found in Ultra Nature Immune Defence is called Saccharomyces cerevisiae. This is the most common yeast used in food fermentation. Saccharomyces cerevisiae contains beta-glucans found in the cell wall and belongs to a group of sugars known as polysaccharides.
